On this website you’ll find helpful information as well as insights on bodyweight workout, getting (staying) fit and losing weight. We do put a lot of time into this site and its content, and we really hope you are enjoying it. If so, then please leave a comment and let us know 🙂 We do add new content regularly. Feel free to visit us frequently.

Most of the information on this site are for people over 40. However, they can also be followed by younger individuals and will help too.

DanielWhy over 40? Since I, Daniel, am the owner of this website and I’m in the age of above 40, I wanted to focus on information for that age group because most of the fitness and healthy living sites out there focus on people at the age up to 35 or so and when you get older, than your body doesn’t work the same anymore and you have a harder time with losing weight and getting fit. I can speak from my own experience.

I grew up in a ski area and so skiing was the sport I did all my life and it’s something I’m still practicing every winter and still enjoy it, even after doing it more than 40 years 🙂 I can say, that I’m definitely a workout and healthy living person which I also practice with my Family in an enjoyable way for all of us.

Skying isn’t the only sport I’m doing. I also played Ice Hockey for more than 10 years. Then I also worked out almost all my life to remain fit for skiing.

In October 2014 (at the age of 43) I had a hip replacement surgery, which went very well and after only 3 month I could go skiing with my 5 years old daughter, which was fantastic!

Before the surgery I gained quite some weight, since I couldn’t do all the workouts anymore and I didn’t care much about my diet. Then I decided to get rid of my extra weight again and within 2 month I lost 30 pounds (15kg). Now I’m doing weight training 3 times a week following the Old School New Body F4X Training System, since this is built with joint gentle exercises and I love it.
